להתנדב או לא להתנדב זו השאלה

כבר הרבה זמן אני מחפש מקום להתנדב בו. פניתי לארגונים שונים בהונג קונג אבל רובם לא הצליחו להציע לי משהו הולם (למען האמת רובם אפילו לא חזרו אלי וכניראה שבגלל זה אני די מתרעם). אני מבין שיש לי בעיה כי אנני דובר את השפה המקומית ולכן אפשרויותי מוגבלות אבל כשיש כבר הזדמנות ושפה היא לא תנאי או מכשול אני פשוט לא מבין מדוע אנשים מהססים ... את הכתוב מטה העתקתי מתוך אימייל ששלחתי לאחרונה אל גברת ששאלה אותי לגבי הרקע שלי בהמשך להתכתבות שבה ביקשתי להתנדב באירגונה. אני אדם ממוצע פלוס ומאוד חיובי ואנני רוצה להשמע נרקסיסט אבל איך זה יכול להיות שאני לא נחטף בשתי ידיים ... אישתי אומרת שאני לפעמים מפרט יותר מדי ... תשפטו :) 

I am 36 years old, married and a proud father of two kids (4 & 6). 3 years ago, my wife was promoted at work and our family moved to HK from the US. I was born and raised in Israel. My background is engineering and before moving to HK I held various positions (training, sales & marketing) in Hi-tech companies that develop and manufacture software products for the call center industry. My wife is traveling a lot in the region and as a family we decided that I'll be a stay home dad supporting my wife and kids. I took this amazing opportunity to examine what I really want to do in life and decided that working with kids is my true calling thus I enrolled into university again and at present I am also student ( majoring in education and psychology) at the Open U. My main hobby is photography and I am also very good with computers. I was looking for volunteering opportunities, I read about your project and I I believe that I can contribute.
